Notice of Special Meeting via Zoom
Special Meeting of the membership will take place via Zoom on September 8, 2023 at 7:30 a.m. to vote on changing the by-laws.
Current By-laws:
Membership in Alpha Credit Union is limited to those employed and formerly employed by the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc., Lahey Clinic Medical Center, Joslin Diabetes Center Inc., Tufts Medical Center, affiliates of the previously mentioned medical centers, New England Health Care Foundation, Pratt Medical Group, Inc., and Dialysis Clinics, Inc., and their parent or subsidiary entities and other entities related thereto via common control and/or service related affiliation.
Alpha CU would like to amend these by-laws by adding the following phrase at the end of the above paragraph:
Membership is also available to the members’ or eligible members’ spouse or domestic partner, children, step-children or domestic partner’s children, parent, step-parents, parent’s domestic partner, grandchildren, step-grandchildren, grandparents, step-grandparents, domestic partners’ parents or grandparents, siblings or step-siblings.
